Rein in Taufers offers a variety of possibilities and hiking destinations.
Starting from our farm, you can reach the Knuttenalm in about 1.5 hours.
The Reiner Höhenweg also offers an unforgettable mountain panorama. You start at the village church, walk to the "Sieben Hütten" and from there continue via the Rieseralm to the Durraalm.
A tour to the Kasseler Hütte is also a must-do. A 2.5-hour climb awaits you, past waterfalls, streams, meadows and alpine pastures.
Not to forget the Kofler lakes in Rein in Taufers. Dip your feet into the crystal clear water of the mountain lake, take a deep breath and relax - that's what a holiday feels like.
Another natural spectacle in the Reintal also invites you to marvel.
It's the Reinbach waterfalls.
We follow the fresh Reiner Bach, which is fed by many springs in the mountains, until it finally, below and just before Sand in Taufers, tumbles over vertical rocks as a roaring waterfall and natural spectacle.
Standing in front of them, you can feel the power of the water, the fresh air and a gentle, moist breeze on your skin - a magical moment!
