Our farm is located at the entrance to the small town of Rein in Taufers at about 1.500 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Rieserferner-Ahrn nature park. This guarantees natural beauties and natural landscapes that have remained unchanged for centuries, as well as rural cultural landscapes.  

 

In addition to our house, the stable for the animals and the building in which the apartments are located, the Feichterhof also includes fields with an area of around 4.5 hectares, a pasture for our young animals in summer and around 10 hectares of forest.  ​

The Feichterhof is a farm with livestock, so we mainly keep young cattle. Our cattle belong to the rare breed of Tyrolean gray cattle that is worthy of preservation. The animals are characterized by their shimmering, silvery, sometimes iron-grey coloring. We also keep ducks, chickens, rabbits, pigs and cats on our farm.

Of course there is a lot to discover on a farm, for example you can experience the feeding of the animals by visiting the stables together and we can be there if you want to actively support.
